Love is....

* Eating the burnt piece of toast and giving them the good one.
* Not wanting to speak to them but finding yourself dialing their number anyway.
* Going out on double dates with their lame/rude/stupid/boring friends.
* Getting so close to them that the only way you can be closer is to be in them.
* Apologizing first, even when it WAS their fault.
* Telling them that they have that morning crust in their eyes and offer to get it out.
* Wanting the best for them…even if it’s not you.
* Making them chicken soup though you’re sick too.
* Telling them you love them regardless of how they feel towards you.
* Comfortable
* Not caring if the toilet seat was up or down.
* Praying together
* Putting their name in every song about love
* Getting up a 3 in the morning to turn on the air/heater for them.
* Seeing the best looking woman/man on earth and not even wondering “what if”
* Accepting that they have crusty feet and chapped lips in the winter.
* Secure
* Hurting because they are hurt
* Forgetting what the word “I” even sound like when making plans.
* Not thinking about the crazy phone bill you’ll have when they’re out of town and ya’ll are on the phone all night.
* Putting your hand on their leg/hair,etc…just so ya’ll can be touching at all times.
* Picking up their snot rag
* Driving 45 minutes upstate just to get a hug and see their smile.
* Thinking about what they would think.
* Eating their “favorite dish” even though it makes you have the “runs”.
* Seeing your future in their eyes
* Listening to their point of view even you KNOW you’re right.
* Calling and spending 10 minutes in their voicemail box erasing and re-recording yourmessage in order to say all the right things.
* Not bringing up their short comings during every argument.
* Humble
* Comparing every other potential love to them
* Not being able to get work done because you’re too busy thinking about how you can make them smile
* Patient
* Holding them tighter when your ex flirts with you in the mall.
* Telling them the truth, even when you know they’ll flip out.
